HOPE CHILDREN PERU
At Hope Children Peru, we organize an annual camp for all the children we support, as well as field trips and sports activities with the objective of providing them with an enriching and transforming experience that allows them access to opportunities and experiences that might otherwise be out of their reach.
Some specific objectives are:
Equal Opportunity:
To provide low-income children with the opportunity to participate in a camp, offering experiences and activities that allow them to grow, learn and enjoy themselves in a safe and enriching environment.
Personal Development:
To foster children’s personal development, promoting self-confidence, self-esteem, independence, decision-making, leadership and teamwork. Provide a space where they can discover and develop their talents, skills and strengths.
Connection with nature:
Allow children to experience and connect with nature, giving them the opportunity to explore natural environments, enjoy nature and promote conservation.
Socialization and integration:
Encourage social interaction, friendship, mutual respect and inclusion, promoting bonding and community building among camp participants.
Teaching values:
Conveying Christian principles and values through activities, teachings and reflections, such as love, kindness, forgiveness, honesty and compassion, to help children develop a solid foundation of ethical and moral values.
Connecting with God:
To provide a space where children can explore and experience God’s love, strengthen their relationship with Him and learn more about His purpose in their lives.
